Overview
morse.tr is a Morse code and CW practice app. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and what is not collected.
Information We Collect
The app may collect the following information to operate and improve the product:
- App usage events, such as app opens, practice starts, and completed practice sessions.
- Practice settings and summary information, such as test type, timing settings, app version, build number, platform, locale, entitlement state, and trial day.
- Typing Test details, including the played practice text and the submitted text entered with the app's custom practice keyboard.
- Speaking Test details, including the prompted character, round timing, detected answer state, correctness, response time, confidence, and echo/voice timing observations.
- Adaptive learning state used by the app, including per-character alpha and beta values when a practice session completes.
- An anonymous Firebase user identifier used to group practice logs from the same app installation or anonymous app user.
Information We Do Not Collect
- The app does not upload raw microphone audio, recordings, PCM buffers, or waveform samples.
- The app does not collect payment card details. In-app purchases are processed by Apple.
- The app does not use collected data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
How We Use Information
- To understand where users start, complete, or leave practice flows.
- To improve Morse practice quality, timing behavior, adaptive character selection, and app reliability.
- To diagnose product issues such as failed practice uploads, store availability, or unexpected session behavior.
- To evaluate trial conversion and purchase funnel behavior without storing raw transaction details in analytics events.
Storage and Service Providers
morse.tr uses Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Anonymous Authentication, and Cloud Firestore. Firebase is provided by Google. App Store purchases are processed by Apple.
Local Data
The app also stores settings, practice history, adaptive learning state, and entitlement cache data locally on the device. Some app data may be included in app-state export/import or iCloud sync features, but store purchase entitlement is not granted or removed by app-state export/import.
